An individual who does not reside in the US can be invited to work in the US through a work visa.
Employers select a specific candidate for a role in the company, then petition and pay for an employer-sponsored visa.
A highly skilled international worker that US employers hire to fill specific positions at their companies. An employer sponsored visa is needed.
Immigrant
Non-Immigrant
A Permanent Resident card or Lawful Permanent Resident card. This allows non-citizens to work without restriction in the US.
If someone is still waiting for their Green Card, they could still be eligible to work. Check for an I-551 stamp in their passport.
Green Card?
A non-US citizen who already lives in the country. If this individual has a green card, they are ready to work
